KISHORGANJ, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS) - Two students were killed in a road accident in the Baniagram bus stand area under Katiadi upazila here this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Ali Akbar, 13, an eighth-grade student of Madhyapara High School, and his cousin Junayed, 12, a sixth-grade student at the same school. Ali Akbar was the son of Faruk of Madhyapara village, and Junayed was the son of Ferdous.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Katiadi Police Station Md. Tariqul Islam said when they were going to their school on a motorcycle a bus ran over them, leaving Ali Akbar dead on the spot.

Later, Junayed died at Bajitpur Zahurul Islam Medical College Hospital.
