HABIGANJ, Feb 19, 2025 (BSS) - A fish trader was killed in a road accident at Bekiteka village on the Habiganj-Lakhai road in Sadar upazila this morning.

The deceased is Abdul Majid, 55, son of late Abdul Gafur, a resident of Bekiteka village under Lukra union of the upazila.

A truck hit Majid while he was crossing the road around 5am, leaving him injured, said Alamgir Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station.

Majid was sent to Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
