Homage paid to language martyrs in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, Feb 21, 2025 (BSS) - People of Jamalpur paid homage to the Language Martyrs today, marking the Amar Ekushey and the International Mother Language Day.

People from all walks of life paid homage to the language martyrs by placing wreaths at the Shaheed Minar at one minute past zero hour.

Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum first placed a wreath at the central Shaheed Minar located in the Doyamoyee area in the district town. 

Superintendent of Police Syed Rafiqul Islam and officials of the district administration, civil surgeon's office, police administration, zila parishad, and municipality were present.
