3 shops fined for selling adulterated foods in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, March 18, 2025 (BSS) - Directorate of National Consumers’ Right Protection (DNCRP) today conducted drives at different places under Sadar upazila and fined three shops for storing and selling adulterated baby foods and cosmetics.

Assistant Director of DNCRP Chuadanga office Mohammad Mamunul Hasan led the drives which were conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30pm.

During the drive, the DNCRP fined BHB Enterprise Taka 40,000, M/S Showkhin Store Taka 2,000 and M/S Payel Cosmetics Taka 2,000.

They also seized and later destroyed adulterated baby food items and cosmetics.
