Farmers receive agri incentives in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - An agricultural incentive program was inaugurated today in Kachua upazila aiming to boost the production of mung beans and sesame.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) KM Abu Nawsad handed over the agricultural incentives to the farmers at the upazila agriculture hall room this afternoon. 

A total of 30 farmers received 5 kg of mung bean seeds, 5 kg of OMP fertilizer, and 10 kg of DMP fertilizer each. Additionally, 20 sesame cultivators were provided with 1 kg of sesame seeds, 5 kg of OMP fertilizer, and 10 kg of DMP fertilizer each.

Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Mohammad Ali, Upazila Agriculture Officer Akash Boragi, and Sheikh Naimur, among others, were present.
