PBI arrests key accused in Pabna’s Zahidul murder case

DHAKA, April 24, 2025 (BSS) – Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) detained Badal alias Tipu, the principal accused in the murder of timber trader Zaidul Molla of Santhia in Pabna from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA).

A team of PBI with the help of immigration police rounded him up on Tuesday, said a PBI press release today.  

PBI Pabna has unearthed the mystery of the murder of timber trader Zaidul Molla, 53, and seized the blood-stained motorcycle used in the murder.

Earlier, PBI arrested Md. Akram Hossain, 30, of Shahapara of Ataikula in Pabna, who participated in the killing of Zahidul on April 16.

In addition, PBI also arrested Md. Shihab, 25 of Santhia, Pabna, who took part in the planning of the murder.
