Three held with firearms in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANJ, May 13, 2025 (BSS) - The joint forces, during a raid, arrested three persons with firearms and sharp weapons from Gazaria upazila of the district today. 

The arrested were identified as Syed Ali, 65, son of Syed Amjad of Uttar Jamalpur village in Guagachia Union; Iman, 60, son of Md. Kayem and Monir Hossain, 29, son of Md. Alam.

During the raid, the joint forces recovered 51 rounds of live ammunition, machetes, axes, clothing resembling army uniforms and Tk 59,560 in cash, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gazaria Police Station Md. Anwar Alam Azad.
