Two-day science fair and food festival begins in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR, May 14, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day 'Science and Innovation Fair and Food Festival' began today on the campus of Dinajpur Government College.

The college's Principal, Prof A.K.M. Abdullah, inaugurated the event as the chief guest by cutting a ribbon and releasing balloons and peace pigeons.

Encouraging students to embrace innovation, Prof Abdullah said, "The thoughts of the youth and the contributions of students are essential in building a beautiful, happy, and prosperous Bangladesh."

Vice-Principal Prof Dr Md Abdur Razzaque attended as the special guest and emphasized the importance of developing skills in technological innovation and using new technologies responsibly.

Biswajit Das, convener of the organizing committee, presided over the event, while Principal of Dinajpur Government Women's College Prof Md Lutfar Rahman and committee member Dr Md Babul Hossain, among others, were also present.

Following the inaugural ceremony, the guests visited various stalls at the fair.
