66 victims of July Uprising get cheques in Jashore

JASHORE, May 14, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration today distributed cheques among the injured persons of July Uprising at its office.

Deputy Commissioner Md Azharul Islam distributed the cheques to 66 victims of the district.

Every victim has received cheque for Taka one lakh.

Acting Civil Surgeon Nazmus Sadiq Russel, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nazibul Alam, Jashore General Hospital in-charge Hossain Safayet, Jashore Press Club President Zahid Hasan Tukun and leaders of anti-discrimination student movement, among others, were present at the event.
