RANGAMATI, May 15, 2025 (BSS) – Three workers were killed and another was injured as a six-wheeler freight tractor turned turtle in Baghaichhari upazila of the district today.

The accident took place in Arjapur area this afternoon when the freight tractor overturned on the road while it was transporting goods, leaving three workers dead on the spot and another injured, said Shirin Akhter, Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer.

The injured was taken to the upazila health complex. 

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

Officer-in-Charge of Baghaichhari Police Station Md. Humayun Kabir said a freight truck overturned in the Arjapur area of the upazila.

He said that further legal action will be taken after recovering the bodies.
