CHUADANGA, May 16, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration, on behalf of the July Foundation, distributed financial assistance among 46 category-C July warriors in Chuadanga on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahirul Islam handed over cheques of Taka 1 lakh to each recipient at his office. 

The programme was also attended by Civil Surgeon Dr Hadi Zia Uddin Ahmed, Additional District Magistrate Nayan Kumar Rajbangshi, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer M Saifullah, District Education Officer Dil Ara Chowdhury, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Awliur Rahman, District Convener of the Anti-Discriminatory Student Movement Aslam Hossain Archo. 

Earlier, health cards were distributed among the July warriors.

"The government has published the names of the July warriors after a thorough review. Health cards have also been distributed among 44 injured fighters," said the deputy commissioner.
