96 July-fighters get assistance in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, May 16, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration today distributed 
cheques among 96 injured (C-category) people of July Uprising at Sasar 
upazila office as assistance from the government.

Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akter Chowdhury distributed the cheques among 96 
victims of five upazilas of the district at 11 am today.

Every victim has received cheque of Taka one lakh.

Joypurhat Additional Deputy Commissioner Bipul Kumar, UNO Rasheul Islam, 
district BNP convener Goljar Hossen and leaders of anti-discrimination 
student movement were present at the event, among others.
