MANIKGANJ, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A three-day land fair was inaugurated in the district today with festivity.

On this occasion, a colourful rally was brought out from the premises of Collectorate Office and ended at the Assistant Commissioner (AC) Land Office here after parading main roads of the district town.

Later, a discussion was held at the AC (Land) office with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Manikganj Sheikh Mejbah Ul Saberin in the chair.
 
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Manwar Hossain Malla was present in the discussion as the chief guest while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rev) Mohammad Ali presented the keynote paper to mark the fair.

The function was addressed, among others, by Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Operation) Abdullah Al Mamun, Manikganj Press Club Convenor Zahangir Alam Biswas ADC (Gen) Atiqul Mamun, ADM Nazmul Hasan Khan, Power Greed Executive Engineer Dewan Giash Mahmud and Freedom Fighter Abul Hossain Siddique.
