BARISHAL, June 5, 2025 (BSS) – Eid-ul-Azha congregations will be held between 7am and 9:30am in more than 300 mosques in Barishal city and district.

Barishal City Corporation will organize the main Eid congregation at Hemayet Uddin Eidgah Maidan at 7:30 am, according to the National Imam Association of Barishal Metropolitan City.  

The city corporation officials said more than 10,000 devotees will be able to offer Eid prayers at Hemayet Uddin Eidgah at the same time. 

Two Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram Mosque as the first one will be held at 8 am and the second one at 9 am.  

Two congregations will also be held at the Jamaat-e-Kasai Mosque at the same time. 

The first congregation at Ebaidullah Mosque will be held at 8 am and the second one at 9:30 am. 

One of the largest congregations in Barishal division will be held at Charmonai Madrasa ground at 9 am, said Charmonai Union Parishad Chairman Syed Ziaul Karim.

Another large congregation will be held on Sharchina Madrasa premises in Nesarabad Upazila of Pirojpur at 8 am. 

In Jhalokathi the main Eid congregation will be held at Nesarabad Jamaat-e-Kayed Sab Hujurbari at 8 am, said Maulana Mohammad MahabuburRahman, the administrative officer of the mosque. 

Eid congregation will be held at Guthia Baitul Aman Mosque in Wazirpur Upazila of Barishal district at 8 am, said Imam SiddiqurRahman, in charge of the programme.
