BOGURA, June 7, 2025 (BSS) - Father and son were killed in a fatal road accident at Noymail area on the Dhaka-Bogura highway of Shajahanpur upazila today.
The deceased were identified as Chand Mia, and his minor son Abudllah, 4, of Bamunia Mandolpara of Shajahanpur upazila.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus hit them while they were crossing a road divider in the area, leaving Chand and Abdullah killed on the spot.
Police said they were going to offer Eid prayers.
Police recovered the bodies and sent to upazila health complex for autopsy.
