NAOGAON, June 26, 2025 (BSS) - A tree plantation programme was held today as part of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's 31-point initiative in Naogaon.

The event, organized by the district unit of Jatiyatabadi Tarique Zia Projonmo Dal, took place in front of Muktir Morh Municipality in Naogaon city.

Naogaon District BNP Member Secretary Bayezid Hossain Palash inaugurated the event as the chief guest. 

In his speech, he highlighted the importance of tree plantation in maintaining ecological balance, promoting greenery and raising awareness to tackle the impacts of climate change.

Rashiduzzaman Uzzal, member of the District Jubodal and senior joint convener of the Paurasava Jubodal; Mamunur Rashid Mamun and Faridul Hossain, members of the District Jubodal and S.M. Abdul Bari Hasibul, convener of the district unit of Jatiyatabadi Tarique Zia Projonmo Dal, among others, were present at the programme.
