Rangpur Sangeet Shilpi Kalyan Foundation celebrates 12th anniversary

RANGPUR, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur Sangeet Shilpi Kalyan Foundation 
(RSSKF) celebrated its 12th founding anniversary with colorful programmes 
including dance, songs, unveiling book cover, artist honours and discussions 
on Friday night. 
 
Rangpur District Shilpi Academy and Rangpur Sangeet Shilpi Kalyan Foundation 
jointly organised the anniversary celebration with the theme "Let the whole 
world be one in the harmony of music" on the occasion of the World Music Day. 
 
Rangpur Sangeet Shilpi Kalyan Foundation President Khandaker Mohammad Ali 
Samrat presided over the celebration function held at the Rangpur District 
Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the city. 
 
BNP Organising Secretary for Rangpur division and former Deputy Minister 
Principal Asadul Habib Dulu attended the function as the chief guest. 
 
Rangpur Group Deputy Managing Director Ashraful Alam Al-Amin and district 
Cultural Officer KM Arifuzzaman were present at the function as special 
guests. 
 
The celebration began with the performance of the national anthem. Later, the 
artists performed the organization's chorus. 
 
Noted cultural personality of Rangpur Maksudar Rahman Mukul delivered the 
welcome speech.
 
Later, the organisations' founding anniversary book cover was unveiled. 
 
After the discussion, two senior artists of Rangpur were awarded the "Artist 
Honour". 
 
This time, the "Artist Honour" was received by Abdul Gafur Sarkar and Tamal 
Kanti Lahiri. Lyricists SM Khalil Babu and Atiqul Islam presented their 
biographies.
 
Popular artists Milan Bhattacharya, Neelima Akhter, Ziaul Haque Lipu, Farhan 
Shahil Lyon, Lovely Sarkar, Shafiqul Islam, Priyanka Pal, Aranya Abbas, Belal 
Hossain, Hridoy JJ, Mahmuda Akhter Mila, Mofizul Biplob and Ranjeet Kumar Roy 
performed songs. 
 
Besides, group dance was also performed by Shilpakala Academy's artists on 
the occasion.
 
Convener of the Anniversary Celebration Organising Committee Chowdhury 
Mahmudun Nabi Dollar, its member-secretary Sweet jointly moderated the 
function with Samiul Hasan Liton and Safura Khatun.
