FENI, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - Mother and her son were killed in a fatal road accident at Gudam Koarter rail crossing near Feni Rail Station tonight.
 
The deceased were Fatematuzzohora, 63, and her son Hafez Uddin, 40, of Pashchim Pathan Nagar of Chhagalnaiya upazila of the district.
 
The accident occurred when the train ‘Chattala Express’ hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in the area, leaving Hafez killed on the spot and injured Fatematuzzohora injured critically.
 
Fatematuzzohora succumbed to her injuries on the way of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
 
Feni GRP in-charge Md Iqbal Hossain confirmed the incident.
