MANIKGANJ, June 29, 2025 (BSS) - The biennial election of Manikganj Press Club was held yesterday with great enthusiasm at the press club premises.

Zahangir Alam Biswas and Shahanur Islam, who served as convener and member secretary of the convening committee, have been elected as president and general secretary of the Press Club, respectively.

The other elected committee members are Vice-Presidents Shahjahan Biswas and Abul Bashar Abbasy, Joint Secretary Ripon Ansary, Assistant General Secretary Zahidul Haque Chandan, and Sports and Cultural Secretary Akmal Hossain.

Publicity and Publishing Secretary Khandaker Sujon Hossain, Office Secretary Azizul Hakim, and Treasurer Shahin Rareq were also elected.
