PATUAKHALI, July 1, 2025 (BSS) – Distribution of seeds, saplings and chemical fertilizer has started in Kalapara upazila of the district today.

Agriculture incentive will be distributed among 6,000 small and marginal farmers and organizations in Kalapara upazila of the district today.

Kalapara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Rabiul Islam formally inaugurated the distribution program at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises this morning.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Arafat Hossain, Kalapara Press Club General Secretary SM Mosharraf Hossain Mintu and other dignitaries were present at the time. 

Arafat Hossain said that seeds, saplings and chemical fertilizers were distributed among 200 small and marginal farmers and some organizations today under the agricultural incentive program. 

Besides, palm and coconut saplings were distributed to some organizations. In addition to distributing Ufshi Aman, Lemon, Mango, Neem, Bell, Jam, Jackfruit seedlings, hybrid pepper and Ufshi vegetable seeds were distributed to farmers.
