RANGPUR, July 1, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a 
leader of inter-district robbers' gang from the 'Three Sisters Hotel' in 
Palashbari upazila town under Palashbari Police Station of Gaibandha 
district. 
 
The arrested was Md Tayeb Ali alias Tayeb President alias Tayeb Dakat, 48, 
son of late Saheb Ali Gachhu of Rampur village of Palashbari Police Station. 

Based on specific confidential information, an operational team of Crime 
Prevention Company (CPC)-3 of RAB-13 from Gaibandha camp arrested the most 
wanted robber on multiple arrest warrants from the hotel at around 1 pm 
today, a RAB press release said. 
 
More than 11 cases, including robbery, burglary and theft, are under 
investigation against him in various police stations of Dinajpur, Bogura, 
Gaibandha and Joypurhat districts. 
 
In addition, arrest warrants are issued against him by different courts in 
Dinajpur and Bogura districts. 
 
The elite force has handed over the arrested person to Palashbari Police 
Station to take further legal action, the release added.
