PIROJPUR, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - A minor girl was killed in a road accident in Battala area of Chirapara union under Kaukhali upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Samia Akhter, 7, daughter of Md. Dulal Mollah, a resident of Parsaturia village of the same upazila.

The accident took place around 12.30 pm when a motorcycle hit an auto rickshaw from opposite direction, leaving its passenger Samia injured, said Md. Solaiman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kaukhali Police Station.

Samia Akhter was sent to Kaukhali Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.
