MADARIPUR, July 3, 2025 (BSS) - A middle-aged unidentified woman was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway in the Munshi Bazar area under Shibchar upazila of the district this morning.

Zahirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Shibchar Highway Police Station, said the accident occurred when a private car hit the woman while she was crossing the road.

She was critically injured and rushed to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared her dead.
