CHATTOGRAM, July 3, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and another one injured in a road accident in Bainnyapukur area on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway of the district this evening.

The deceased was Iqbal Shikdar, 32, son of Sabuj Shikdar in Sokhipur upazila of Tangail. 

The accident occurred when a passenger bus collided head-on with a motorcycle in the area, leaving motorcycle rider Iqbal dead on the spot and injured co-rider Jabed Mia, 30.

The injured was sent to BGC Trust Medical College Hospital.

Police seized the bus.
