21 Cultural hard-up activists received financial cheques in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, July 17, 2025 (BSS) - Twenty one hard-up cultural activists of Manikganj District received financial cheques from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

The cheques were distributed among the hard-up cultural activists from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs under the auspices of Manikganj District Administration.

The Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj Dr Manwar Hossein Malla was present at the function as the chief guest. 

District Cultural Officer Moklesa Hilary presided over the function.

A total of 21 hard-up cultural activists from different areas in the district received the cheques at a meeting held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Manwar Hossein Malla said it is not only financial support to the cultural activists but also a respect for them. The cultural activities are conducted and developed with their hard work, DC added.
