Proshika announces budget of Taka 4,543.57 crore for FY 2025-26

MANIKGANJ, July 18, 2025 (BSS) - Proshika, a human development-focused non-governmental organization (NGO), today announced its budget of Taka 4,543.57 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26.

The budget was unveiled at a day-long workshop held at the Koitta Training Center in the district.

Manikganj Deputy Commissioner Dr Manwar Hossein Malla attended the event as the chief guest, while National Press Club President and Editor of Daily Kaler Kantho, Poet Hasan Hafiz, delivered the keynote speech.

In his speech, Poet Hasan Hafiz said, "We attained a new Bangladesh through the sacrifices of thousands during the July-August Uprising. However, a vested quarter is still conspiring against the country and attempting to destabilize the situation." He called upon the people and the government to resist these conspiracies.

Deputy Managing Director of PKSF Md Moshiur Rahman, kidney and medicine specialist Prof Md Abdus Samad, and Saturia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Iqbal Hossain were present as special guests.

Proshika President Miz Rokeya Islam presided over the programme. Chief Executive Sirajul Islam, Deputy Chief Executive Quamrul Hasan, Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas, and other Proshika officials and field-level workers also attended.
