BOGURA, Aug 11, 2025 (BSS) – One person was killed and five other were injured in a road accident in Rupihar Bus Stand area under Nandigram upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Abdus Salam, 32, son of late Mahar Ali of Khejurtala Ataikula village under Singra upazila in Natore district.

The accident took place around 6.30 am on the Bogura-Natore highway when a sand-laden truck collided head-on with another truck, leaving six including truck driver and helper injured, said Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kunderhat Highway Police Station.

The injured were taken to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where Salam succumbed to his injuries.
