Arms, ammunition seized in Khulna

KHULNA, Aug 12, 2025 (BSS) - Police recovered arms and ammunition from Poygram village under Fultala upazila in Khulna district late last night.

According to Md Jellal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fultala Police Station, based on information, a team from the Detective Branch conducted a raid at around 11:15 PM near the residence of Hasanur Fakir in the village.

During the operation, law enforcers recovered one country-made pistol, one pipe gun, and five rounds of cartridges. The items were found abandoned at the base of a palm tree located on the north side of the residence.

A case has been filed in connection with the recovery.
