Mock drill can help students extinguish fire efficiently: speakers

GAIBANDHA, AUG 13, 2025 (BSS)- Speakers at a function have said mock drill could help the students extinguish fire efficiently in the times of emergency. 

If the students are trained on fire fighting, they would be able to douse the inflame,  they told a function marking the mock drill of fire extinguishing on the ground of Belka Mazidpara Girls’ High School in Sundarganj upazila here Tuesday (August 12).   

Fire Service and Civil Defense Station of Gaibandha in cooperation with SKS Foundation, a non-government organization,  organized the mock drill. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Raz Kumar Biswas, deputy director of Gaibandha local office of fire service Mahmudul Islam, representatives of different government and non-government organizations, among others, attended the function.  

 All students of the high school took part in the mock drill.
