Tree plantation program held in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Aug 23, 2025 (BSS) - A tree plantation and educational materials distribution program was organized by the Adiabadi Chhatra-Youth Development Club here today.

In this event, saplings of various trees were planted in the grounds of Adiabadi Islamia High School and College, Afchar Uddin Ideal School and Darul Ulum Madrasa in the Adiabadi Union of Raipura Upazila and educational materials were distributed among 75 meritorious and underprivileged students.

The event was presided over by the club's president, Mashiur Rahman. Among others present were the club's advisor Syed Mohammad Zakaria, general secretary Md. Hannan Mia, organizing secretary Md. Zakaria, and publicity secretary Kiran Mia.

During the program, the club leaders stated that the Adiabadi Chhatra-Youth Development Club is a voluntary organization formed by educated, enthusiastic, and young individuals from the Adiabadi area. The club has been engaged in socio-economic and humanitarian activities for more than two decades.

The club is a non-political organization registered under the Government of Bangladesh. Like every year, such socio-economic initiatives will continue in the future.
