KHULNA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) - Md Toufiqur Rahman today officially took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate of Khulna.

Outgoing DC Mohammad Saiful Islam, along with Additional Deputy Commissioners Bitan Kumar Mondal (General), Nurul Hai Mohammad Anas (Education & ICT), Md Akhtar Hossain (Revenue), Additional District Magistrate Dipankar Das, and Deputy Chief Information Officer A.S.M. Kabir, attended the handover ceremony at the district administration office. 

Prior to this appointment, Md Toufiqur Rahman served as the DC of Kushtia.

He belongs to the 27th batch of the BCS (Administration) cadre.
