2 held with ESKuf, phensedyl in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 100 bottles of ESKuf and 100 bottles of phensedyl and arrested two alleged drug dealers from Chandrapur Uttarpara village under Kaliganj police station of Lalmonirhat on Thursday.

The arrestees were identified as Md Hossain Ali, 50, son of late Sajam Ali of village Mongagach and Shree Pushpa Roy, 25, son of Shree Madhav Roy of village Paikertari under Kaliganj Police Station of Lalmonirhat.
 
Based on information, an operational team of RAB-13 from Rangpur battalion headquarters conducted a raid at Chandrapur Uttarpara village, seized the 200 bottles of contraband ESKuf and phensedyl and nabbed the two men at 11:30 am, a press release said today. 
 
The arrested persons with the seized drugs were handed over to Kaliganj Police Station in Lalmonirhat, the release added.
