TANGAIL, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) –The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) handed over financial assistance cheques worth Tk 90 lakh to the families of those killed and injured in road accidents in different areas of Tangail district.

The cheque distribution ceremony was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in the afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sharifa Haque attended the event as the chief guest and formally handed over the cheques to the affected families.

Additional District Magistrate Mahbub Hasan, Assistant Director of BRTA Tangail Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Senior Assistant Kamrul Hossain and other BRTA officials were also present at the event.
