33 Dengue, 18 Chikungunya cases reported in Ctg in 24 hours

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 18 people in the district have 
been infected with Chikungunya and 33 with Dengue during the last 24 hours.

Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam confirmed this afternoon.

According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon's Office, a total of 2,554 people 
have been hospitalized for Dengue this year, resulting in 19 deaths. 

Additionally, 3,440 cases of Chikungunya have been reported this year, it 
added.
 
Dr. Jahangir Alam stated that 32 patients, including 14 with Chikungunya, are 
currently receiving treatment at different hospitals in the city.
