Next election to be battle to restore democracy: Ashraf

NARSINGDI, Nov 09, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Assistant Secretary for Science and Technology Affairs and Adviser of Amra BNP Paribar Md Ashraf Uddin Bokul today said  the upcoming  election will be a battle to restore democracy in the country.  

“To establish the people’s right to vote, we must further strengthen our organizational base at the union level,” he said while addressing a discussion and courtyard rally organized by the BNP Doukar Char Union unit in Morjal area.

He urged BNP leaders, activists and supporters in every ward to work in unity to ensure victory.

Ashraf Uddin said, “BNP is the party of the people, and only a government elected by the people’s vote can ensure real development and the rule of law in the country. Ahead of the upcoming election, everyone must remain alert and organized to counter all conspiracies.”

Doukar Char Union BNP President Habibur Rahman Habib presided over the programme.

Leaders and activists expressed their unwavering support for BNP’s nominated candidate for Narsingdi-5 constituency, Ashraf Uddin Bokul. 

Leaders of Doukar Char Union BNP and its associate bodies were present at the event.

The meeting concluded with prayers, seeking the good health and long life of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
