NOAKHALI, Nov 9, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Organizing Secretary Mahbuber Rahman Shamim today said a conspiracy is being hatched against Bangladesh, its democracy as well as the forthcoming election. 

“We must stay prepared to face all conspiracies. Through the efforts of the people, all conspiracies will be thwarted. Those who obstruct the people’s right to vote will be resisted by the people,” he said.

Shamim was addressing as the chief guest at a street rally held at Chairmanghat in Hatiya this evening. He got the party’s nomination from Noakhali-6 (Hatiya) constituency.

He said those who are trying to sabotage or delay the election will face a massive defeat. 

Sensing defeat in the election, they are trying to thwart it, he said. “We must remain alert against such conspiracies,” he said.

Former president of Horini Union BNP Akhtaruzzaman Dolon chaired the meeting while former president of Hatiya Upazila BNP Ala Uddin, former president A.K.M. Fazlul Haque Khokon, former vice president Masudur Rahman Babor, former joint general secretaries Amirul Haider Sajjad and Lutfullahil Majid Nishan, among others, spoke.
