CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 6, 2026 (BSS) - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) distributed 300 blankets among helpless, distressed, and uprooted people in the border areas of Shibganj upazila today as part of its winter relief initiative.
The distribution programme was held in Kukripara area of Durlavpur union of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon, organized by the BGB's Chapainawabganj Battalion (53 BGB).
The winter relief items were handed over by BGB Rajshahi Sector Commander Colonel Syed Kamal Hossain. Lieutenant Colonel Kazi Mustafizur Rahman, Commander of the Chapainawabganj Battalion and Assistant Director Rafiqul Islam were also present at the programme.
