RANGPUR, Feb 23, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized 200 bottles 
of phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested an alleged drug dealer from 
Khamarbhati village under Kaliganj Police Station of Lalmonirhat district today.
 
The arrested was identified as Md Harun Mia, 39, son of Nuru Hossain alias 
Nuru Sheikh of Khamarbhati village under Kaliganj Police Station of 
Lalmonirhat district.
 
On a tip-off, a team of the RAB-13 Sadar Company from its Rangpur 
headquarters conducted a raid in the area and arrested the man along with the 
contraband drugs at 2:20 am, a press release said. 
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the 
arrested person and seized drugs to Kaliganj Police Station of Lalmonirhat 
for further legal action.
