KHAGRACHHARI, March 12, 2026 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Ramgarh Zone has launched a generous initiative by distributing Eid gifts, financial assistance, and various essential materials to the poor and marginalized ethnic minorities and Bengali communities in Ramgarh of the district.

The distribution took place during a programme organised at Ramgarh Zone Headquarters this morning, with Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md. Ahsan Ul Islam overseeing the event.

In a heartfelt display of solidarity, Eid gifts were handed out to underprivileged families of both ethnic minorities and Bengali descent residing in the upazila.

Additionally, ceiling fans were donated to local madrasas and orphanages, enhancing their comfort and living conditions.

The BGB's efforts extended further with financial assistance allocated for the construction of mosques and support for fire-affected families.
A significant amount of corrugated iron sheets was distributed to those whose homes had been damaged in recent fires.

Furthermore, financial aid was provided to assist in the medical treatment of several local residents in need.
