CHATTOGRAM, March 12, 2026 (BSS) – Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested five persons along with 182,000 yaba tablets in the Ghat area of Patenga Police Station in the city today.

The arrestees are Md Imran, 21, Md Anis, 29, Md Monir Hossain, 45, Md Ali, 47, and Md Rubel, 27.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB conducted a raid in the area this morning and arrested them with the yaba tablets.

RAB said a case is being prepared against the detainees under the Narcotics Control Act.
