Mobile court fines trader for injecting jelly into shrimp in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, May 13, 2026 (BSS) - The administration conducted a mobile court drive at the Boro Bazaar fish market area in Narsingdi Sadar Upazila this noon.

During the drive, a fish trader was fined Tk 4,000 as a warning punishment for illegally injecting jelly into shrimp. At the same time, around 10 kilograms of seized shrimp were destroyed publicly.

Upazila Fisheries Officer of Narsingdi Sadar provided overall assistance to the mobile court by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Meftahul Hasan.
