RAJSHAHI, May 28, 2026 (BSS) - On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha today, Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator  Mahfuzur Rahman Riton and his wife shared the joy of Eid with orphaned, helpless, and underprivileged children residing at the Integrated Child Rehabilitation Center (Girls' Branch) in Rajshahi.

This afternoon, they visited the center located in the Uposhahar area of the city, spent heartfelt time with the children, inquired about their well-being, and exchanged Eid greetings.

During the visit, they brought home-cooked food and served it to the children themselves, and also gifted them new Eid clothes to bring smiles to their faces.

Speaking on the occasion, the RCC Administrator said, "The main teachings of the holy Eid-ul-Azha are sacrifice, empathy, and humanity. The joy of Eid is only complete when we can bring smiles to the faces of the underprivileged, orphaned, and helpless children of our society."

He called on everyone to fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities in building a bright future for the children.

Officials and staff members of the Integrated Child Rehabilitation Center (Girls' Branch) were also present at the time.
