DHAKA, Aug 1, 2025 (BSS) - Fact-checking platform BanglaFact, operated by the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a video claiming that the footage of a member of a gang of teenagers in Bangladesh is holding a knife to the throat of a school girl, which is actually an incident of Maharashtra in India.

In its latest report, BanglaFact clarified that the video circulating on Facebook of the young man holding a knife to the throat of a school girl is not from Bangladesh, but from India.
