DHAKA, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS) - FactWatch, a Bangladesh-based independent fact-checking organization, has identified a video claiming that Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury is threatening Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul which is not correct.
 
FactWatch team found that recently, a 12-second video is being shared on Facebook, claiming that Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury is threatening Dr. Asif Nazrul.
 
 FactWatch's review showed that the person Amir Khasru is threatening is not Asif Nazrul, actually Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was threatening BNP's Akon Quddus. 
 
 Moreover, reports on this matter have been found in several media outlets.
