RAJSHAHI, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS)- A three-day divisional-level National Gold Cup 
Football Tournament (Under 17, Boys and Girls) began here today to mark the 
celebration of "Tarunner Utsab".

The Divisional Administration and District Sports Office organised the 
tournament initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at Physical 
Education College with the "Let's Change the Country, Change the World." 
slogan to build a new Bangladesh.

Additional Commissioner of Rajshahi division Tarafder Akter Jamil opened the 
tournament balloons and festoons in the sky.

District Sports Officer Goutam Kumar Sarker, Additional Deputy Commissioner 
Jobayer Hossain, Deputy Director of Department of Youth Development ATM Golam 
Mahbub, Director of District Information Office Tazkia Akbari, Deputy 
Director Nafeyala Nasrin and Principal of Physical Education College Lubna 
Yeasmin also spoke.

A total of nine teams from Rajshahi city and different districts under the 
division are taking part in the tournament.
