DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Youth Festival 2025 National Youth Chess Championships, featuring age groups from Under-8 to Under-18 (Open & Girls), will begin on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Bangladesh Chess Federation Hall.

The championship is organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation and will see the participation of selected players from all divisions, including the top three winners of the last Youth Chess Championship, alongside other talented players.

Interested players who fall under these categories must submit an entry fee of Taka 300, along with a proof of age and a letter from their respective division. The deadline for registration for these players is Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 8:00 PM, at the Bangladesh Chess Federation office.

Other players not covered under the above categories are also eligible to participate by paying an entry fee of Taka 1,000 and submitting an age certificate at the Bangladesh Chess Federation office before the registration deadline.

The tournament will feature a 7-round Swiss-league format and will take place over a period of 5 days.
