DHAKA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS)- Inter-district age group girls' swimming competition, marking the Festival of Youth 2025, begins at Dhanmondi Riya Gope Women's Sports Complex in the capital tomorrow (Friday). 

Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF) vice-president Mizanur Rahman will formally open the meet as the chief guest at 10 am. 

A total of 132 swimmers from 22 districts across the country will compete in the two-day meet, organised by Bangladesh Women's Sports Association.
 
Youth and Sports Secretary Md Mahbub-Ul Alam is expected to present in the closing ceremony as the chief guest on Saturday and distribute the prizes.

National Sports Council Secretary Aminul Islam will present as special guest on the occasion.
