The event, organised by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, officially commenced today at the Munshiganj Stadium, marking a vibrant beginning to a nationwide celebration of youth and football.

The opening match between Munshiganj and Madaripur set the tone for the championship, which will feature 64 district teams competing across 8 zones, according to a press release of Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

The tournament structure includes home-and-away qualifiers, followed by knockout rounds leading to the grand final in November.

The opening ceremony was graced by Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan as chief guest, alongside senior officials from BFF and the ministry.

The event featured cultural performances, youth showcases, and the unveiling of the official championship logo.

With 112 matches scheduled across the country, the tournament is expected to reignite district-level football and uncover new talent.

The Festival of Youth 2025- Creating A New Bangladesh- an initiative of the Chief Adviser's Office led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, seeks to foster unity and promote an ethos of cooperation while supporting and bringing to the forefront the contributions of local heroes and change-makers.
