DHAKA, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) - The Festival of Youth baseball development training camp, started at Cox's Bazar District Stadium amidst great enthusiasm this morning.
Salim Fakir, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Youth and Sports formally inaugurated the camp as the chief guest. National Sports Council executive director Kazi Nazrul Islam addressed the event as special guest.
On the opening day, fifty talented and energetic young players from different areas of Cox's Bazar district participated in the day-long camp, organized by the Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association (BBSA) and with the overall support of the Cox's Bazar District Sports Organization.
The players, participating in the training camp will have the opportunity to represent Cox's Bazar district in the National Baseball Championship 2025 to be held in the last week of December.
This is the 20th District Baseball development camp, which is being held as part of the ongoing development activities of the BBSA. The training camp will continue until the National Championship in December.
