Zelensky says 8 killed in Russian strikes on Kyiv

KYIV, Ukraine, Aug 28, 2025 (AFP) - Fresh Russian strikes on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv killed at least eight people and wounded dozens more, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday.

"Another massive attack against our cities and communities. Killings again," Zelensky wrote on X, adding that a child was among those killed and raising an earlier death toll of four.
